She was Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light as well as in Guiding Light, a character that earned her the 2003 Soap Opera Digest Award nomination as Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas from 2007 until the year 2008 on ABC's Women's Murder Club. Dollar was the lead character in Happy Valley in the 2012 NBC pilot, but it was not taken on.
